Emergency Closing Information
The emergency closing of school takes place only during extraordinary circumstances such as extreme weather, equipment failure, or public crisis. The school board and administrators are aware of the hardship that can be caused by an abrupt school closing. In the event of inclement weather that might cause a delayed opening or a school closing, the following information will be helpful in keeping yourself informed:
- The Haddon Township School District utilizes an automated phone system that calls and emails parents and guardians to notify them of an emergency school closing.
Two-hour delay days:
Kindergarten
- Our AM Kindergarten class will meet from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM; Arrival time is between 10:20 AM-10:30 AM.
- PM K-Club is from 12:00 PM - 3:10 PM
Grades 1st - 5th
- Children in grades 1-5 will arrive to school between 10:20 AM and 10:30AM.
- Lunch will be at our regular times and will follow the stated menu as closely as possible.
- Dismissal is at 3:10 PM
After Care
- 3:00 - 6:00PM
